Wayne & Steve Hurr created Wayne Hurr Hair in 2014, opening a modern unisex salon, in a gorgeous grade 2 listed building, within the historic town of Bury St Edmunds.

Our business plan is to cherry pick the best stylists in Bury St Edmunds and offer them a self-employed opportunity. This, in turn, allows them to offer their expertise and experience without charging you the inflated prices.

Wayne has over 25 years of experience in hair, working himself up from a junior position at Toni & Guy in Bury St Edmunds to Technical Director. At the top of his game, Wayne also achieved the L'Oreal Colour Specialist Degree.

After forming strong bonds with his clients and colleagues, and gaining a professional reputation that was second to none, Wayne formed a team of amazing self-employed stylists and colourists.

In our first year of opening, the readers of the Bury Free Press voted us Salon of the Year, making us the last recipient of the prestigious award.

We use the best products that L'Oreal, Kerastase and Olaplex have to offer in order to further enhance your experience.

We are now well established in the town after trading for over 10 years.
