I was a little cynical before starting this Disney+ limited series as I thought it would be a family friendly rehash of the horror movie Orphan. I was wrong, and I became more and more enthralled by this story of an American family that adopted a young girl, Natalia Grace, who had a rare form of dwarfism.

Based on actual events, what makes this series really stand out is that it is told from multiple points of view in order to address bias and perspective. Questions surface about Natalia's age as experts give differing opinions and the family starts to turn on itself. I found myself flip-flopping from believing one side to the other throughout the entire eight episodes.

The acting is first class, especially from Imogen Faith Reid, who plays Natalia. My only concern about the series was that despite the show being about Natalia Grace, no one from the production team actually conferred with Natalia Grace, herself.

All episodes are available on Disney+ and if you enjoy a docudrama that will keep you guessing until the last episode then this is the series for you 9/10
